The Manthorpe Bat Ridge Roost - Black Edition is an innovative solution designed to provide essential roosting space for small crevice-dwelling bat species native to the UK. Developed in collaboration with the Bat Conservation Trust as part of their Roost Partnership scheme, this externally mounted unit offers a secure and habitable environment for bats without allowing access to the roof space or interior of the property.

The Bat Ridge Roost is engineered to integrate seamlessly with the Manthorpe SmartVerge Polypropylene handed and ambidextrous dry verge systems. It is also compatible with third-party dry verge systems, traditional verge tiles, or mortared-in verge details, making it a versatile choice for various roofing setups.

This dual-purpose product not only supports bat conservation but also functions as a ridge end cap, delivering a durable and aesthetically pleasing finish for most styles of round ridge tiles. It is positioned at the gable end of the ridge tiles, providing a secure and weather-resistant cover.

The cover plate assembly comes pre-assembled and includes the bat habitat and insulation, secured with three pre-fitted screws for easy installation. This thoughtfully designed unit ensures that your roofing solution contributes to wildlife conservation while maintaining the integrity and appearance of your property.
